Apprenticeships & Skilled Trades
Fleming College delivers a wide variety of apprenticeship programs, offering industrial type training in technical shops, combined with classroom theory for apprentices in the designated trades. Apprenticeship exemption testing is also available in most trades.
In response to construction industry growth and to alleviate the shortage of skilled trade workers, three full-time Ontario College Certificates are also now available. These 2- semester programs in Construction Skills, Electrical Techniques or Welding are designed to prepare you for work or to pursue an apprenticeship in one of these trades.
