Minimum Admission Requirements
OSSD with the majority of credits at the Workplace (E) level, including English. When Workplace (E) is the minimum course level for admission, (C) and (U/C) courses are also accepted.
Mature Students If you are 19 years of age or older before classes start, and you do not possess an OSSD, you can write the Canadian Adult Achievement Test to assess your eligibility for admission.

Introduction to HTML

The ability to create HTML documents from scratch and work within existing HTML documents is key to the Web development process and an asset to a Web development team. Students will learn how to use HTML and CSS to create a basic Web site. Through all levels of HTML and CSS learning, the student will learn about the various browser capabilities and reverse compatibility issues, and be required to cross browser test and troubleshoot their HTML and CSS code.Units: 45.00

This portfolio project is intended to incorporate and demonstrate the student's skills and knowledge of Web Development in their final semester. Students will research examples of e-portfolios and establish their e-portfolio presence on the World Wide Web. They will research and establish their own domain name. Employing their skills in web design, students will complete the design and content of their e-portfolio web site.
