Glassblowing in Haliburton: Naturally Inspiring

Looking for a beautiful, natural setting in the heart of cottage country to inspire your creativity? You can find it at Fleming College’s Haliburton Campus, home to the Haliburton School of The Arts.
The Haliburton School of The Arts, located on the shores of Head Lake in the Village of Haliburton, offers a number of options for students interested in glass art.
Week-long courses run during the summer, from May to August, while an intensive 14-week college certificate program in Glassblowing is offered from January to April each year.
Accommodations
There are many and varied accommodation options available in and around the village of Haliburton. The college also maintains a list of accommodation options, both commercial and private. This information can be mailed to you upon request. Alternatively, the County of Haliburton Visitor Information Centre can also assist you and can be reached at 800-461-7677. We recommend that you inquire about cancellation policies and indicate that the school will determine feasibility of your course 2 weeks in advance of course start. In our experience, the hosts are very co-operative but it’s best to clarify and confirm such details to avoid a situation where you lose your accommodation fees in the event of course cancellation.
