My time in the Police Foundations Program at Fleming College meant a great deal to me. I met some really good friends there and feel that I could go back at anytime and talk with the teachers. The classes were relevant and I came away with a basic understanding of criminal and provincial law.
I also believe that the lessons learned at Fleming College helped me through the police application and screening process by preparing me for the police exams and interviews.
One of my favorite classes was the Criminal Code. I also enjoyed the LINK program and the opportunity to experience what it's like to be a police officer first hand. I found that the hands on training helped me realize that policing was what I truly wanted to do.
I think that Fleming has a very good reputation in the community. I had the opportunity to go to a different college, but I chose Fleming because of the positive things I had heard about the program from others. I was told that the program was very practical and a lot of fun too.
