Frost Campus - Lindsay
About 1,500 full-time students study at the Frost Campus which is located on over 150 acres of land at the southern edge of the city of Lindsay.
The Frost Campus is home to one of Canada’s leading environmental education institutions, Fleming College’s School of Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences. For almost forty years the school has been producing highly skilled graduates who work in the environmental and natural resource industries across Canada and around the world.
In 2004, a new environmental technology wing was opened to facilitate additional research and educational opportunities. It is one of the most environmentally sustainable commercial buildings in Canada and features a green roof and geothermal heating and cooling.
In addition to leading-edge learning and studying spaces, the campus houses The Centre for Alternative Wastewater Treatment, The Centre for Heavy Equipment Technology and The Geomatics Institute at Fleming.
Other programs such as Early Childhood Education, Personal Support Worker and Social Service Worker are also offered at the Frost campus in addition to many part-time studies.
Recreational and athletic activities are available on-campus at the Fleming Field House and the Lindsay Recreation Centre which is directly adjacent to the campus. The recreation centre contains a swimming pool, two ice rinks and squash courts.
Student residences are available within steps of the main building.
